This charming and impeccably composed vintage kilim from Sweden features prominent quatrefoils enclosing a subtly striped cocoa brown field decorated with a colorful series of constellated asteroids comprised of right-angle motifs and checkers. These constellated hypocycloids comprised of inset checkers dot the field and infringe on the formal borders. Main borders comprised of alternating rosy pink and celadon quadrants filled with rectilinear floral motifs make a grand impression against the subtly striped field.
