Vintage Chinoiserie Chinese Lacquered Cabinet
This beautiful Chinoiserie cabinet dates from the early twentieth century and measures 57.75" tall, 37" wide and 18.5" deep. Its two upper doors feature a lacquered Chinese scene and open to reveal four cubby holes and two slide-out shelves. Three cubby holes reside behind two lower doors. The cabinet features raised fretwork designs on the upper corners and lower front, and lacquered panels with landscape motifs decorate the sides. Doors close snuggly and the upper cabinet lock and key work fine. There are nicks and scratches to the finish, consistent with age, and no visible signatures or hallmarks.
