This Vintage Au Bout Du Villa translated as At The End of The Tunnel is a signed & numbered 15/350 Roger Hebbelinck etching. Born August 12, 1912 in Brussels, Belgium, Roger Hebbelinck started working with watercolors as a young boy. At sixteen he printed etchings in the studio of the famous artist, Van Santen. It is here that he learned etching techniques by day and attended classes at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels in the evening. Hebbelinck also worked as an oil and landscape painter, watercolorist, and filmmaker and taught watercolor, painting and engraving at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. As a filmmaker, Hebbelinck won a prize at the Cannes Film Festival for his documentary La Naissance d'une Eau-forte. The Vintage Au Bout Du Villa Signed & Numbered Roger Hebbelinck Etching has been professionally matted with a metal frame and measures, 21.25 inches H X 24.50 inches W X 01.00 inch D, including the frame, with an image size of 13.75 inches H X 17.50 inches W. The copyright information is printed on the back side, Copyright by Stehli Brothers Ltd 8032 Zurich, and also hand written along the edge of the etching shows, Au Bout Du Villa and Hebbelinck 15/350 36 WW 85/6846.
