Hand Painted Trompe l'oeil Victorian Painted Vintage Vanity Set
Vintage wooden vanity & bench that have been custom hand painted with a trompe l'oeil (fool the eye) touch. The vanity has envelope and silver comb and mirror painted on top and a lace hankie and black stocking hanging from a drawer on each side. The vanity has a batten burg lace doilies painted on top and the bench has the same lace painted down each side. The bench is covered with white fabric and matching lace. Everyone has to touch the doilies & bench, they don't believe that it has been painted. A large mirror is also included with this piece. The vanity is 50 " wide.
