American Antique Leaded & Stained Glass Church Window
American Antique Leaded & Stained Glass Church Window
This American Antique Leaded & Stained Glass Church Window, circa 1890, was salvaged from a church in northwest Georgia. One's eye is drawn to the curved golden and radiant red center cross that incorporates a multitude of vivid blue shades and a variety of vibrant red hues in an oval design. The motif is surrounded by diamond shaped glass in clear and soft muted tones of yellow that seem to contrast quite strikingly while complimenting the stunning center. The glass is hand blown and has lots of streaks, bubbles and textures. The American Antique Leaded & Stained Glass Church Window measures, 39.50 inches H X 62.50 inches W X 05.75 inches W, has the original horizontal support and two vertical supports to brace the glass, and is in the original decoratively incised wooden frame. Please note, two of the diamond shaped glass have cracks and there are some small cracks in the center cross section.
