Livio Seguso Abstract Glass Sculpture

This abstract glass sculpture by Livio Seguso (Murano, 1930- ) is believed to date from the 1970s or 1980s. It is signed by the artist on the underside, measures 14" tall, 13" wide and 9" deep and weighs an estimated 8-12 lbs. There are no cracks, chips, repairs or noticeable scratches. This item resides in our client's gallery in Westchester County NY and may be seen by appointment. Additional images gladly forwarded upon request. Livio Seguso was born in Murano Italy and still lives and works there today. Since 1973 he has conducted individual exhibitions throughout Europe, the Far East and the U.S., and participated in numerous group exhibitions around the world. Seguso's works are held by dozens of museums, including the Corning Museum of Glass (Corning, NY), Glasmuseum Frauenau (Frauenau, Germany), Hankyu Gallery (Osaka, Japan), Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art (Hokkaido, Japan), Kunsthaus Am Museum (Cologne, Germany), Kunstmuseum Dusseldorf, Glasmuseum Hentrich (Dusseldorf, Germany), Kunstsammlungen der Veste Coburg (Coburg, Germany), Museo D'Arte Moderno Ca'esaro (Venice, Italy), Narodni Galerie (Prague, Czech Republic), among others.
