Classic American arts and crafts tile depicting a basket of fruit with garlands and two hummingbirds in blue hovering over it on each side from the Rookwood Pottery Co. in ten wonderful pastel, slightly curdled, glazes on a .875" thick yellow clay back stamped on reverse with the Rookwood pattern number "3084Y" and "Rookwood Faience". The tile is excellent condition with a light glaze nick to the breast of the right hummingbird and another to the light light yellow piece of fruit in the center of the tile. Soft glazes on a wonderful tile from a first-class pottery. Please write with any questions you may have.
