Super American arts & crafts tile from the Rookwood Pottery, Cincinnati, OH, depicting a mythological swan-like creature with a crown girdling its neck and a rope of gold entwining its body. The tile is finished in soft matte celadon, gold and white glazes and is in excellent/very good condition with edge nick to the glaze at lower left corner and a small nick at center of bottom edge. Incised "Rookwood Faience" and pattern numbers on reverse. Please write with any questions you may have.
