Victorian Trade Cards Clarks Thread Boy on Hands 1800. This is a nice color Victorian Trade Card for John Clark Jr & Co's Mile End Spool Cotton. Done in lovely shades of blue, red with a beige background. Shows one child balancing on his hands and holding a spool of thread on one foot. He is wearing a red suit. A boy in a blue suit is standing on his hands on a spool of Clarks thread. Has his feet extended. in front of him. On the back is a calendar of the months January through June. At the bottom it reads, Thomas Russell & Co., Sole Agents. New York. This card came from a scrap book dated 1880. In excellent condition. Measures 2"" wide by 3 1/4"" tall.
