Primitive, country, antique, Americana,. WHETSTONE. One of a kind,. Sharpening wheel stone. For sharpening steel blades and farm implements. 70 lbs, 80" around, 19 1/2" across. Stone is 3" wide. Embossed on the cast iron mount Pat. Aug. 7 1888 or 1889. Has all the cast iron to remount. This stone sat in a cradle. and had a foot paddle. We could not save it. Age wear.
