Independence Felicity Pitcher is white with a scalloped border and a stencil type design showing two birds and flowers in mustard yellow and shades of brown. It has the castleton shape that widens towards the middle where the embossed rib design comes in and it thins out again. Backstamp in green shows a monument and stars and reads Independence Ironstone by Castleton China inc. (a division of Shenango) Made in Japan. Pitcher is 8"" high and 9"" wide with handle and spout. It has a very tiny chip on the spout and some crazing on the lid and bottom.
