Independence Felicity Pepper Shaker is white with a scalloped border and a stencil type design showing two birds and flowers in mustard yellow and shades of brown. It has the castleton shape that widens towards the middle where the embossed rib design comes in and it thins out again. Backstamp in green shows a monument and stars and reads Independence Ironstone by Castleton China inc. (a division of Shenango) Made in Japan. Shaker is 2 3\4"" high and 1 1\2"" wide. Light crazing. Excellent condition.
