Yankee No. 10 Ratchet Screwdriver 8 inch long

Quantity available: 1

This is a very rare antique model ratchet screwdriver, marked "YANKEE NO. 10 NORTH BROS. MFG. CO. PHILA. PA. U.S.A. PAT.NOV.20.97, MAY.1.06" on the handle ferrule area that has the direction selector switch on it. It measures 8" long overall, has a brownish colored handle that I believe was originally rosewood stain, no stain remaining. The wood handle is solid with a few grain splits in it, that are contained by the steel ferrule that the wood fits into. The wood has some other minor wear and dings, but looks good and is clean. The ferrule nickel plating is about 95% intact, polished, look nice, and the steel screwdriver head and shaft is in good useable condition with some darkening of the metal. The tip end measures 1/4" wide at the tip. The selector and ratchet system on this one moves smoothly and holds position very well. A rare, hard to find ratchet screwdriver!
