World Wide Art Studio First Congregational Church of Christ Plate from Prescott, Arizona, 100th Anniversary. This plate depicts the First Congregational Church organized September 26, 1880, Prescott Arizona. This church is the oldest UCC Church in the Southwest. The small church depicted on the plate was dedicated November 27, 1881, the present church was dedicated October 15, 1905 and rebuilt in 1916. Twenty-six ministers have served the church during its first 100 years, the longest being that of Dr. Charles F. Parker, 1934-1963. It has a gold trim with green print against a cream colored china, measures just over 10" across and is marked on the back with the above information and World Wide Art Studios, Covington, Tenn 38019. It is in terrific condition, no chips or cracks and would be a lovely addition to your collection!
