Extraordinary Orientalist-themed painting after the original watercolor entitled 'Fantasia' by Italian Orientalist painter Giulio Rosati (1858-1917). It depicts two Moroccan horsemen / cavaliers at full gallop in the desert. Fantasia is a traditional equestrian ritual performed in Morocco also referred to as 'Game of Gunpowder'. One of the horsemen is aiming his old Arab gunpowder gun while the other carries a lance. It is signed with the artist's monogram, a red letter B in a circle, on the lower right. In good used condition with creases and water stains to paper border that can be mostly concealed with a new mat. Shipped fully insured with tracking number. Measurements: Mat: 20" by 16", Visible Image: 14.5" by 10.5" approximately.
