"War Era" "Crystolite" Pattern Relish Clear Glass Bowl By Heisey Glass Co. This diameter of the bottom of this relish bowl 3 3/4" X 3 1/4". It is 2 3/4" high and the top rim is 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" in diameter. The glass is approximately 1/4" thick. The Crystolite line was an outstanding favorite of Heisey's glassware and was advertised in their catalog as being "`deftly molded and finished by expert hands to reflect lights sparkling, shimmering beauty". This pattern was produced by Heisey Glass Company 1936-1945 and was known as their "War Era" glass. Markings: The diamond containing the "H" is embossed on the bottom of the dish.
