Wade Barley Mow Whimsey on Why

Unavailable

Whimsey on Why is a mythical village made of porcelain by Wade England to display what a typical English village of the time would look like.  Barley Mow is an inn, highly decorated on all sides with a Tudor-style thatched roof.  The front, back, and sides all have red roofs, windows, vines, shrubs, and even barrels and other stored goods at the back.  The indentation on the bottom bears the embossed letters "WADE ENGLAND."

Whimsey on Why was produced by Wade beginning in 1980 in the form of a series.  Barley Mow is eighth in that series.
