Vintage sterling pill trinket box TURTLE UNIQUE with patriotic engraved flags
Possibly an antique political pillbox, trinket or stamp box , this sterling turtle holds two engraved flags on his back, one in yellow and one it red. It measures 3" long and 2" wide. His shell lifts up ( it is hinged) and inside is a split compartment. This is quite an unusual ALL sterling piece and even his head shows a lot of definition! In excellent condition.
