Vintage Pfaltzgraff Yorktowne Wine & Cheese Serving Tray

Vintage Pfaltzgraff wine and cheese serving tray set, consisting of an aluminum and brass tray with an antiqued look, a .75 inch thick wooden tray liner with a recess for the wine carafe and a round painted metal insert with the Yorktowne design for cheese, and a glass wine carafe. The metal tray measures approximately 21.75 inches (including the handles) by 9.75 inches by 1 inch. The dark-stained wooden tray liner measures approximately 15 inches by 7.5 inches by .75 inches. The round cheese holder is about 5.5 inches in diameter, and the glass carafe is 10.75 inches high and 3.5 inches in diameter. Altogether, this set weighs about 3.5 pounds. The serving pieces are in very good condition. The glass carafe is free of chips and cracks, and looks handblown with some waviness and tiny imperfections in the glass. The metal tray is free of dents and dings, shows light surface wear and some tarnish and discoloration; there is some scratching and more tarnish under the wooden liner. The decorative brass handles are securely attached to the tray with brass rivets. The wooden liner has no knife marks; there is minor chipping around the recesses which look to be a result of the production process. The wood would benefit from a good cleaning, oiling, and polishing. The round painted metal insert is in excellent condition. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition.
