This is a Vintage NRA Enamel Tie Tac Lapel Pin. NRA was started by FDR in 1933 to put the people back to work. It stands for the National Recovery Act which helped us to get out of the Great Depression.The National Industrial Recovery Act was a law passed by the United States Congress in 1933 to authorize the President to regulate industry in an attempt to raise prices after severe deflation and stimulate economic recovery. This wonderful piece of history has the patriotic colors of Red, White, Blue and in good vintage condition, light weight and well made. It says NRA member, We Do Our Part.
