This vintage stein is handpainted, from Japan, and i believe it to be pre WW11. In good condition as it has no chips, cracks, etc. but does have crazing all over the glossy finish, and is a bit discolored on the bottom. The crazing is common to items of this age. Decorated with a bird and floral design. Actually has a quite feminine appeal as opposed to the more male decorated steins and mugs. Gold trimmed and the gold is slightly worn on the handle.
