American dinnerware chop/serving plate in the "Penthouse" pattern, made by Edwin Knowles, circa 1939. Art Deco "Yorktown" shape with red stripe border, orange flower pots with posies, sitting on stepped shelves.  Marked semi-vitreous. Measures 10.75"d plus handles, for a total of 12.75".  Has a few pinholes in the glaze with discoloration and some wear to decals, but no chips or cracks.  Sold as is.  Inglenook Antiques....Established 1989.
