Vintage J Stanley Saddle Bum Cowboy Wood Carving Santa Fe New Mexico. This piece was found along with some pieces by Artist Todocio Valdez of Santa Fe New Mexico, known for his handmade wood carved cowboys "Todocio's Saddle Bums". This line of hand carved figurines date from the 1940's to 1950's and are a rare find.
This figurine has a finely detailed cowboy holding a rope, he wears a bright green shirt, blue jeans and boots, his head is removable. He is about 12" tall, 3 1/4" across the shoulders, he is signed on the back with J Stanley.
