This delightful secretary features hand-painted trompe l'oeil decoration with an Italian theme. It measures 40.75" wide, 81" tall and 21" deep.  Condition is good. There is noticeable craquelure to painted surfaces. There are some horizontal hairline age cracks, and some small traces of restoration and retouching. There are a few chips and losses of the painted decoration, especially to edges and corners. The escutcheon on fall front is loose, and there it noticeable wear to the area surrounding the faux keyhole.
