Vintage Italian art glass bowl, done in the Somerso technique, with blue glass encased in clear. Reminiscent of a blue octopus! Eight pulled "arms", reach an impressive 19.25"l x 14"w x 3.75"h. Foil label intact, describing the bowl as being in the style of Murano, and made in Italy. Heavy bottom is ground, but not polished. Exact date unknown, but likely from the mid-century. Fine condition with no chips or cracks. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
