Vintage Georgian Antique CANNETILLE MOURNING Hair Portrait locket necklace

This is just one of the most detailed mourning necklaces I have ever seen. This huge CANNETILLE (A type of wirework decoration popular during the early 19th century, which uses coiled and twisted wire to achieve a delicate and scrolling effect) wire work pendant has a place for a photo or tintype inside or a piece of hair. The pendant is 2" long and has an extra ½" more for the floral bale above it. The whole necklace is gold over silver wirework. The length around the neck is 30" long. The locket is not hinged. The inset center piece slides out and inside is a thick space where the photo would go on one side and the hair would back up against it. That way with a window on each side you can see the hair and or the photo.
