Featured for your enjoyment is a wonderful piece of hand work. It is done with cross stitch making a blue basket of flowers in the center and a large double flower on the pillows. It is in near mint condition. This old bed cover was made by a lady who had planned on making a hope chest for each grandchild. On her passing her daughter took possession of her home and left everything in the trunks she had so painstakingly collected. Only after this daughters death where these discovered. It has never seen the light of day until about a week ago. Fits a double bed perfectly but could also be used on a queen. Measures 90 by 78. It is trimmed in blue fabric and made of a cotton.
