This Beautiful cake plate is by Lord Nelson in the "BRIAR ROSE" Chintz pattern comes in the Octagonal shape with handles. This lovely plate measures approx. 10 3/4" wide handle to handle. The plate is in excellent vintage . It has a wonderful green background with gorgeous roses threw out. Top of tray colors still vibrant, without noticeable Cracks, Stains, Discoloration, or repairs. Bottom of plate shows the Lord Nelson back stamps and crazing, consistent with chintz of this vintage. Gold trim around rim of tray does show a slight wear in spots, but is still pretty much intact all around the edge with minimal sign of wear. A very nice piece to add to any chintz collection or make it will make a nice display on its own with the unusual shape. Please see all photos.
