Here's a colorful wall hanger for the man cave. This old-timer hung on the wall of a corner tavern in Scranton, PA from the 1930's-1970's and it appears to have seen plenty of use. My guess is that it was constructed by an amateur woodworker rather than being a production piece.(maybe he swapped some carpentry skills for a couple of beers and shots). Has a brass # tag in the top center indicating possibly what table the rack was for. Very nice beadboard back - cabinet has a black re-paint over an oak body. Top crown appears to be a replacement?? This one even comes with a complete set of 2 1/4" balls which are probably neither clay nor ivory - but they do have plenty of age on them. Balls are well faded, but may clean up with some simichrome. Rack is in good solid condition, no water stains or mildew smells. There is a green felt on the bottom, so this could stand on a table or be hung on the wall - just a great conversation and still quite usable.
