This is a camera fanatic's dream find! For sale is a Vintage Argus 35mm Rangefinder Brick Camera with a 50mm lens, also known more simply as the Argus C3 Matchmatic. It is almost identical to the original Argus C3 except for the markings and leatherette color. It was marketed in the late 1950's and is U.S. made. Unfortunately the top half of the case is missing, however, the base section of the leather case is intact and also features a leather adjustable strap. This spectacular camera was featured in the Harry Potter film "The Chamber of Secrets", by character Colin Creevey, making it a fantastic collector's item. Very little damage to this item aside from a few scratches and a little bit of lifting on the leather adhesive, which could be repaired quite simply.
