Unusual vintage / antique art pottery gourd-shaped vase or jug in matte green and creamy yellow. The green neck of the piece flows over onto the cream bottom half much like volcanic lava. The exterior surface of this piece is very smooth, almost velvety. It measures about 8.25 inches high and 6.25 inches in diameter, and weighs about 2.25 pounds. It is made of reddish clay and has a dry circular foot. The bottom is recessed, with 3 small round holes on the inner foot. Condition is very good, with no chips or cracks. There is some surface wear, glaze overdrip, and some areas of color variation. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. Shipping / packaging will be $10.00.
