Vintage / antique oak recipe file box, with dovetailed joinery, fancy brass hinges, and black, silver, and gold "Recipes" decal. This sturdy old piece measures approximately 4.25 inches high, 5.625 inches wide, and 3.25 inches deep; it weighs 9.5 ounces. On the bottom of the box, in black stenciling, is "537 DX". The recipe box is in good to very good condition. It is intact, with no chips or cracks. It has light to moderate surface wear. One of the brass tacks on one hinge is missing.
