Vintage African Woman's Head Earrings bakelite?
The are probably the coolest vintage earrings I have ran across in the past 10 years.
They are clip on's. The clip and the setting is of gold tone metal. The face of of some unknown substance that has highly detailed facial features. Maybe it is bakelite. The facial features are either molded or carved ,I can't tell , but then accentuated with paint. Under the chin of this lovely African Beauty is a faux pearl.
The measure 1 ¼” x 7/8”
The condition is excellent.
