Vintage Adjustable Red Tole Table / Desk Lamp

Vintage adjustable table or desk lamp, with classic styling and red tole-painted metal shade, circa 1970's or earlier. This attractive lamp appears to be brass and has a weighted base for stability. The candle-shaped light bulb holder sits between two arms which swing up and down to adjust the height. The light bulb holder also adjusts so that the perfect angle can be achieved. The round metal shade, which is approximately 11 inches in diameter, is antique red with gold stripes, has a white interior to reflect light, and attaches to the light bulb. The height of the lamp can vary from approximately 15 to 24 inches. The lamp base is 7 inches in diameter. This is a very solid and well-built lamp. It weighs approximately 6.25 pounds.
