Here is a pretty good find, and would be great for the sign collector, or to be hung in the man cave. This sign was hung on the wall of an antique store in Sussex County, NJ. The store was in business from about 1960 thru 1978. This vintage sign is a 1/4" thick white thermoplastic with raised red letters. It is mounted on a very thick 3/4" piece of beadboard with a white moulding around the corners. I dont think thermoplastic signs are even made anymore. This is a very sturdy piece and probably weighs around 40 pounds. The thermoplastic sign is 45 1/4" x 10 1/2". And overall it is 49 1/2" x 15". If you want to save a ton of money on shipping we can just remove the thermoplastic from the beadboard and shipping would be next to nothing.
The sign is in excellent shape, and the pictures will show a small crack at one of the corners. I stablized the crack with epoxy when I bought the sign 25 years ago and it is still holding strong. We can box this one up carefully and send it Fedex Home Delivery for the exact cost of shipping - we never make a dime on shipping and handling.
