Villeroy and Bach Wallerfangen Antique Plate

This is an antique Villeroy and Boch decorative plate with German wording in the center which says, "Do Not Search Far For Happiness, It Lies At Home." The pattern features a three large flowers (?) interspersed with green leaves, small burgundy flowers and burgundy loops. On the back, the mark reads: Villeroy & Boch, Wallerfangen - Made in Germany. The Villeroy and Boch Company was founded in 1836 by Johann Franz Bock from Mettlach and Nicholas Villeroy in Wallerfangen, Saar. The front of the plate is in excellent condition. There is, however, a 2 1/2" x 1/2" stretch of discolored crazing on the back of the plate which does not in any way affect the front. There are also a couple of pinpoint "dings" on the rim which also do not affect the displayability of the plate. There are two holes molded into the underneath rim that allow for hanging the plate on a wall. Additional photographs can be made available upon request. This is a very old plate, and the flaws described are part of normal wear.
