This is a vintage Victorian RPPC Real Photo Postcard of Miss Phyllis Dare an English Actress that performed in Edwardian style plays. She was a dancer, actress, comedian and singer. Davidson Series Glossy 1906. On the front of the card it says Series 6170 Miss Phyllis Dane. and Davidson Bros., on the back it says Davidson Bros, Glossy Series, Printed in England. She was born 15 August 1890 and died 27 April 1975. Her sister Zena Dare was born 4 February 1887 and died 11 March 1975. Zena was also an accomplished actress. We have other photos of Phyllis and Zena on this website. This postcard is in good vintage condition. It is signed by a Phyllis no way of knowing if it is the same one. Vaudeville Photos
