This particular piece is a really neat vintage weighted glass and brass brush pen nib cleaner. The base is stamped Ransom, which made inkwells and other unusual desk accessories for writing. It has a great, early Vaseline glass flower round the brush and a heavy-duty pedestal stand. Measures about 3½" wide. In excellent condition with some minor roughness around the edges. Very nice!
