Highly collectible old piece of pottery from Alsace (Eastern France).
This charming Alsatian milk jug was made in the late 1800's. This yellow "terre vernissee", or glazed pottery, with its decorative flowers, comes from the village of Soufflenheim and was hand made and hand painted by French artist from this village.
You can see at bottom part the marks of fire during cooking.
A little part of France in your home.

Good condition for its age! Marks of use, very little chips, a little bit of missing glaze on sides.
