One, INERT, A DUD, USA military Cast iron smoke practice bomb was dropped from an airplane From keesler field Mississippi on to a practice range near the Hancock County Mississippi test site Probably some time before 1945 and after. Weight is 2 pounds an 13 oz net. It is 8.25 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide at fins. A light gauge metal band that went around the fins is missing and the plunger that was in the nose of the bomb to make it fire is missing. There is no danger to it, It is hollow from end to end.
