 "Touraine"  all the item that I am listing from this pattern came from a Old Time Jewelry Store that also served as a Pattern Matching Service  that had called it quits and went out of business. They had a large amount of Fine china, Crystal, Jewelry, Collectable and I purcahsed the whole lot.. The ound Covered Vegetable is 11" wide X 5 1/2" high" and has double open handles as well as the Lid. I have only one (1) of them and it l looks like new and  unused. It has no chips or cracks. It has like new colors and pattern detail. The surface is  brite White and smooth to the touch with a very high gloss No knife cuts or scratches.I would venture to say that this Covered Vegetable in it's long life has set in a cabinet on display and has never used to serve  a  Dinner..This pattern is one of Theodore Havilands WW II most popular Mid Century Modern patterns made in the U.S.A..
