UNUSUAL VIntage Cherub 1780 Austrian Coin vase

$110.00
Quantity available: 1
Gorgeous raised relief cherubs surround this 1780 Coin on this most unusual pottery vase. I have never seen another like it and the coin seems to be rare as well. The inside has tiny flecks inside the moss green glaze. The outside is very baroque with the two unusual lips as well as the thickness of the piece. The coin reads Burg-co-tyr-1780 Archid-Avst-Dux. translates: "Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy, Countess of Tyrol, 1780". The vase is a little over 4 tall and about 3" wide and is very heavy. IT is in great shape less a very fine hairline crack that runs part way down one side. It is not easy to see and I only noticed with then I used the macro on my camera. The bottom is bumpy but glazed and the white you see is the remnants of a sticker we had on it that would not come off. And now for the tedious part that you probably already know: PLease remember that vintage & antique items are not mint, nor are they perfect but they sure are full of old history and charm. All items are sold as is and as found (used and probably vintage) Since this is Irreplaceable there can be no returns on this sale.. Please use photos to make your decisions. My definition of Vintage is a style or method formerly in vogue.
