Unusual Handcrafted Clay Teapot Terra-cotta ** PRICE REDUCED! **

Unavailable

Unusual handcrafted terra-cotta clay Teapot. I believe that it is Chinese. It has a handle that is formed to look like a tree branch. There are leaves in relief on the upper portion that appear to come from the ends of the "branch" handle. The opening is unusually small and the lid has an acorn like finial. The body has a unusual shape as well. Take note of the tiny spout. Under the spout the couture of the pot takes on the look of a peach.

On the bottom there are two labels. One has some Asian character that I assume are Chinese but could be Japanese. Then there is another label with symbols of a stemmed glass and fork. Impress into the clay is "30" .

The condition is excellent.

I don't think this is very old but it sure is a very interesting teapot.
