Unmarked antique McCoy stoneware jardiniere, with leaves and berries motif in pastels. This appealing jardiniere has a creamy white glaze, with soft rose shading near the top of the piece. There is a raised leaves and berries design, in subtle green on the front and back. On each side is a raised fleur-de-lis design in rose. Impressed on the bottom are "162" followed by a diagonal line and a small horizontal line, a small circle in the center, and "USA" beneath the circle. This substantial piece measures approximately 6.5 inches high, and 8 inches in diameter. It weighs nearly 3.5 pounds. Condition is very good for its age. There is overall faint glaze crazing, a small shallow chip in the glaze on one fleur-de-lis (seen in one of the photographs), a few glaze pops, and a tiny nick in the glaze on the top rim.
