Uncle Sam & Philco Corp. Ad 1942 This is a December 28, 1942 advertisement It is a nice black and white ad from Philco Corporation of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It pictures Hitler, Mussolini and Hiro HIto out on a limb of an apple tree reaching for an apple that looks like the world and Uncle Sam with an industry axe is chopping down the tree. There are a number of apple cores on the ground. It reads, Out on a long, long limb. Pictures is drawn for Philco by S J Ray. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10"" wide by 13 1/2"" tall
