This is a stunning one-fourth plate tintype of a triple armed New York Civil War soldier with an American Battle Flag on the table next to him. On his right one can see another soldier holding his rifle. He is from the 8th regiment of New York and his belt buckle reads "SNY". Image was likely taken right in the company's camp by a traveling photographer. About as nice as you will ever find one. And fresh to the market.
