A very nice scrap quilt top from the civil war era of the early 1860's. It is made of numerous 100% cotton fabrics. Two triangles form a square that is 4" in size. It is entirely hand pieced. It is in very good condition for a 140 + year old quilt top. The following conditions need to be addressed: t are 3 triangles with holes in them, It has several loose seams that need to be restitched and t are some age spots and stains (see pictures). Overall this is a very good example of the different fabrics that were available during the early 1860's.
