Dark red background and gilt trim on this 19th century tole silent butler from France. Hand painted bouquet in gorgeous colors accents the lid which flips open for easing emptying when full. Powered by a brush attached to side wheels which rolls when pushed by the handle to pick up crumbs,ashes,pet hair or any debris from the table,carpet or furniture. Additional single stem blooms painted on either side. Very slight wear to the background paint as seen in minute spots,otherwise excellent condition. Measures 6L X 5.5D X 1.75 H.
