Here's another great advertising cigar box - The Massasoit. This is kind of different from many cigar boxes as the side label is different from the interior label. The side label is the image of an Indian and is quite colorful. The interior label shows buildings with horse and carriages, a locomotive and people. There is one small piece of paper mssing in the interior label-above the flag, about 1 1/2" up. I could not find a date at all; none on the labels, box or tax stamps. One tax stamp is a "union made cigars" stamp nad there are just a small remnant of another just above the outside label on the lid. If you are a collector of unique advertising cigar boxes, or Indian images, this would make a nice addition to that collection!
