This is a nice clean brass back 14" long blade backsaw. It is as sharp and straight as they come! Ready to use, cuts very nicely! Nicely shaped handle, with some bench wear, but not cracked, a few very minor edge dings, mostly surface scratches noted, brass half slot screws, of early vintage, or about 1850-70 era. This saw has been well cared for, and comes with a plastic teeth cover. There is a nice logo and the mark "T. TURNER QUEEN ST. SHEFFIELD" on the brass back. The steel is clean now, no rust, but about 10 small spots of pitted areas are noted. I see no reason for any of them to cause any issues while in use, but does take away from the appearance a bit. Overall a super nice back saw, ready to cut!
I count 11 tooth points per inch on the blade.
